National American Legion College
One-week course conducted in Indianapolis for one representative selected by each department; held annually in October or November. Oct. 27-Nov. 2, 2012, Indianapolis

National Membership Workshop
Conducted in Indianapolis for department officers, with emphasis on district commanders and membership chairmen. Instruction is at three levels: basic, advanced and district officer. Held annually in July/August. July 26-28, 2012, Indianapolis

Commanders' and Adjutants' Conference
Conducted in Indianapolis for all department commanders and department adjutants. Held annually in conjunction with the Fall Meeting of the National Executive Committee. Oct. 15-16, 2012, Indianapolis

Department Adjutants' Special Session
Conducted at the call of the national adjutant, and held in Indianapolis in conjunction with the Fall Meetings; typically every other year, with a focus on newly appointed department adjutants. TBD
