Tickets on sale for Ronnie Dunn concert

Grammy winner Ronnie Dunn, formerly of the duo Brooks & Dunn, with special guest Colt Ford, will kick off the 2011 American Legion World Series in Shelby, N.C., by performing in front of 6,000 fans at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds on Aug. 11.

Before the concert begins, an auxiliary stage will feature three artist: 2008 "American Idol" top 50 finalist Emily Minor, country artist Travis Powell and local artist Rocky Yelton.

More importantly, Dunn’s performance is just the beginning to the exciting, unforgettable events Shelby’s Legion Baseball Committee has planned for coaches, players, family members and locals during the World Series, Aug. 12-16.
