I am disappointed in many of the legions closing, and many of the Legions not having quality people operating the legion to keep them from scamming some of the membership dues and other treatment of new members. I recently put my membership into my old home town Legion, and was treated with disrespect??? When asking questions at other Legions that aren't open very often, the answer was only that many are closing, and not enough new members??? Also, I have heard others say they were not treated with much respect....what is going on? The face of the Legion should not turn to just "sons" that don't seem to take an interest in the needed projects? Also, if Auxilliary Presidents are bartending, they should have better temperment than think they can say whatever they choose to say about anyone they don't care to have aaround i the atmosphere of any one particular legion??? Why it is happening seems to be more of an issue with private issues to have whom they want in the Legion, and no others?? A letter of concern was already forwarded two or three weeks ago to Indianapolis?
