I would like to see the re-entry rule be re-instated for Juniors only. The coaches are teaching and training the young men the fundamentals of the game. The Junior level is there to groom the players for the Senior Division. Having the re-etry rule allows for more playing time for the whole team and also gives the coaches the ability to put players in to experience different situation of the game, as it may arise. With the rule, when we had it, it gave each coach, at the end of the season to have a TEAM not just twelve or thirteen good players. With Legion Baseball being threaten now by Travel Ball, I think we need to do everything we can to make American Legion Baseball their first choice. One of the ways to do that is by having Legion Ball players being our spokes peron telling his friends how he is enjoying playing in every game.
I ask you to think hard and re-instate the re-entry rule for Junior Division only.
