One. The Green Bay Packers won’t be playing in the big game on Sunday, but its 13 world championships, and more than 100,000 individual team shareholders, form part of a legacy of a true "local team" that is only enhanced by having the local Sullivan-Wallen American Legion Post 11 present the U.S. colors prior to home games.
Post 11 has been presenting the colors since the 1940s, but was actually connected to the Green Bay Packers as early as the 1920s. Click here to read more about the relationship.

While I agree with the article, it fails to mention that during the days when the Packers played at County Stadium, Legion Post #449 did the presentation of colors before the game.. How do I know that.. My father was one o the members!

Another good question is "Who was the youngest person to join the American Legion?"
I will post the answer tomorrow...

I am not suprised, only a team owned by ordinary persons know what is important. I've been a PACKER fan since 1954. I was twelve years old when I started watching them on black and white tv.
