State and Regional Legacy Rides

We're headed for South Carolina mid-April to participate in the second South Carolina Statewide Legacy Run, April 20-21, 2013. The SC ALR planned and executed this Run in 2012 and eventually raised something over $60,000 for The American Legion Legacy Scholarship, making South Carolina the TOP fundraising department in the country. It is an honor to ride with these folks again in 2013.

This year other states, including North Carolina, Minnesota, and Florida, are planning or have already conducted such rides (Florida went from the panhandle to Key West and back--longer than the national Legacy Run!). Three Regional "Romps" are also planned in Alabama, Idaho, and New York. And don't forget the Fairfax, VA American Legion Post hosting all the American Legion Riders going to Rolling Thunder.

Use this space, or the new link on the Riders page called "Riders Events" to announce and promote your own statewide Runs and local events to a national audience.
