The American Legion's 12th annual National Americanism Conference gets under way Sept. 24-26 at the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel. During the three-day conference, Legion Baseball chairmen, Oratorical chairmen, Boys State directors and department chaplains will focus on their respective Americanism education programs to enhance the leaders of tomorrow - America's youth.
Besides training, brainstorming and networking activities, attendees will hear many informational presentations. A few notable ones include understanding the new metal bat regulations for baseball, getting state and local politicians involved with Boys State, creating a successful and thriving department Oratorical program, and becoming an effective department chaplain.

I am a brand new American Legion member Groves-Walker Post 346.
I have been asked to learn as much as I can about Boy's State so that I will be ready to back up our current chairman, Walter Christensen.
As luck would have it, I found out about this 2010 National Americanism Conference taking place this week-end. That is too short of a notice for me to attend so, my question is, how will I be able to obtain the information on Boy's State that will come out of this conference?
Thank you,
Ken Reynolds
