Through 13 games, The American Legion Baseball World Series live webcast drew an Internet audience of more than 97,000 unique viewers worldwide on The American Legion Baseball site. With one and possibly two more games to play in the title round of the tournament at Spokane, Wash., the number of unique viewers is expected to pass the 100,000 mark - more than five times the audience that tuned in last year, the first time the tournament was streamed live on the Legion Web site.

The championship game today between Midwest City, Okla., and Eden Prairie, Minn., will air at 7 p.m. EST. If Midwest City wins that game, a second will be streamed live at 10 p.m. EST, and the champion will be crowned.

The webcasts generated more than 2.8 million viewer minutes between Friday and Monday.

I have moved here from out of state to find Mo Legion ball is the worst, i have contacted over 4 coachs without a call back, then the 5th coach said if he doesnt throw 90mph fast ball or hit homers everytime he wouldnt even look at him. There is no open try out, you dont know what is in your backyard without offering try outs with no less then 5-7 coachs. The parents ive talked to states thats why their kids play soccer, more leagues and try outs. I even heard one family played legion ball and put three boys through college, the 4th plays soccer, The dad states that soccer should be America's past time, since the good ole boy system has taken over Mo Legion Baseball!!!!!

Congrats to the Outlaws. This was a nice ALWS, and watching the streamed video of the games was great. Now that the ALWS will be in Shelby, NC on a permanent basis perhaps the tournament can garner some attention from ESPN. Keep up the good work!
