To open more lines of communication between our membership and the national organization, TALARC HQ will expand the monthly 2-meter IRLP Net in April to include EchoLink operations. For licensed hams, EchoLink® software opens up new possibilities for communicating around the world with other amateurs. Your PC links you or your local repeater to any of thousands of other stations over the Internet.
To do this, TALARC will move the Net to CrossRoads IRLP Reflector 9735, from the current 9205. Day and time remains the same: second Saturday of the month, 1800Z.
Stations using EchoLink should connect to the *CROSSRDS* conference, which is dialable on EchoLink with 99735.
Those without access to EchoLink should continue to participate using IRLP procedures as have been customary. The only difference is the number of the node to which everyone – IRLP or EchoLink – must connect. That node is 9735.
