Spring means meetings in Indy

National Commander Clarence Hill and his national officers, along with American Legion commission and committee members and the National Executive Committee, will be in Indianapolis this weekend to discuss Legion priorities, programs and initiatives during the annual Spring Meetings.

Commissions and committees will begin meeting Sunday and continue through Tuesday afternoon. The National Executive Committee will convene at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning for the beginning of two busy days of reviewing commission reports, voting on resolutions and hearing updates from Commander Hill.

Emblem Sales will have a room with a sampling of merchandise for sale in the Monument Suite at the Sheraton. The room will be opened from 7 a.m.-noon Saturday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m.-noon Tuesday. All merchandise will be available to order, and in-stock orders placed on Monday will be delivered to the hotel by 10 a.m., Tuesday.
