As of today, online registration for the 2010 American Legion Baseball season is available. This is the first time in American Legion Baseball history that coaches have the ability to register their team via the Internet through a digital, step-by-step process that will tighten administrative communication efforts and lead to additional value for players and fans.
The user-friendly online registration means coaches no longer have to collect, complete and mail registration forms, insurance forms and payments to various locations for processing. Instead, coaches with access to the Internet have the luxury of performing all of these responsibilities online by using a credit or debit card.
Fans and players also reap benefits from the service, thanks to coaches having the capability of entering game schedules and player profiles that allow the public to view and search on the official American Legion Baseball Web site.
And for those trying to reduce their carbon footstep, online registration omits the use of paper, as coaches no longer need to make copies of their roster for mailing because every roster will be securely available to each country, district and state chairman online.
"We are pleased to offer this new feature for our fans and program participants," American Legion Baseball Program Coordinator Jim Quinlan said. "The new online registration process is a result of our commitment to continue our tradition as one of the most successful amateur leagues, and I look forward to an exciting season."
The 2010 season marks the 85th anniversary of the program, which recently launched a brand new Web site that highlights its reputation among young athletes. The Web site and digital registration process will coincide with the online broadcast of the World Series being played in Spokane, Wash., that begins Aug. 13.Click here to register for the 2010 American Legion Baseball season.

$150 in state and national fees are a bit ridiculous don't you think? It seems unfair that you can't shop local insurance providers for a better rate, and now the extra fees?!? Especially when the local insurance providers are sponsors. I can't get my e mails returned...frustrating!!

I spent a great deal of time entering all 18 of my players expecting that the form 1 would be an easy print. Status merely says "submitted" without any print function.
How does this happen?? Hopefully, I don't have to do this manually.
