it's dangerous cutting out active duty forces especially when there is so much talent in the armed forces. I remember this happening after other conflicts, and it usually has a negative impact on training and force multiplier capability.

While I applaud our military and their efforts, and support them not only with words but alos donations to the USO, I think that we need to revisit why we are fighting this war and what our goals are. We also need to better assess what the terrorists goals are as well. They know that they will never win this war militarily -they don't have to. They have learned from history that all they have to do is carry on a long, protracted, guerrilla war long enough to break our will and our bank.
Either we step up the ante and eradicate the problem once and for all or we count our losses and come home. We have leveraged our childrens future and placed our own freedoms at risk under the guise of homeland security. While the Dept of homeland security spins its Strawberry Shortcake color wheel to determine the color threat of the day, we are force fed fear as a diversion while we give up rights here at home and jeopardize our childrens financial future. Thjis needs tto be conveyed to Congress.

Though the life of a military is very complicated and risky but they are the base of our security. They give us security by taking their life in risk. So it is one of the valuable work for any person of a country.
