Tickets remain for Minnesota Twins game

Tickets remain available for purchase for the Aug. 26 Minnesota Twins baseball game during the 2011 National Convention in Minneapolis.

Aug. 26 will be American Legion Family Night at Target Field, home of the two-time defending American Legion Central Division champion Twins. National Commander Jimmie L. Foster has been selected to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game.

Home Run Porch view seats are available for $22, $2 less than normal. Because of high demand, seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. To order tickets, click here and enter the password LEGION when prompted.

Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted. There is a convenience fee of $3 per ticket and a $3.50 order fee. Tickets can be mailed out or held at Will Call and available for pick-up at any Target Field ticket window or kiosk.

Also, Legionnaires attending the convention have a chance to purchase tickets to two Minnesota Vikings preseason football games at discounted prices.

The Vikings are offering discounts for their preseason games against the Dallas Cowboys on Aug. 27 and Houston Texas on Sept. 1. The deadline to order tickets is Aug. 12 for the Dallas game and Aug. 19 for the Houston game.

Tickets for seats in the upper level of Mall of America Field will be discounted to $20 per ticket; normal ticket prices are $50-$83 each (save up to $63).

Orders will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis with the best available tickets at the time the order is received. Quantities are limited, and there will be no refunds or exchanges unless the games are cancelled. To order, fill out this form and return it via mail or fax (612-333-0458) only. Tickets will be mailed out.
