Legionnaires to see Freedom Car for free

Legionnaires attending this year's national convention in Minneapolis will have the opportunity to see Jerick Johnson and The American Legion/David Law Firm 76 Freedom Car in action at no cost.

Johnson and Team Johnson Motorsports will be racing at Elko Speedway, located south of downtown Minneapolis, as part of the August 27 "Eve of Destruction" event. Any American Legion member will be granted free admittance to the race by presenting their American Legion card.

Gates open at 5 p.m., with qualifying starting at 6 p.m.
