Legionnaires prepare for Spring Meetings

American Legion National Commander James E. Koutz, along with the National Executive Committee and American Legion commission and committee members, will convene in Indianapolis May 3-9 for the 2013 Spring Meetings. During the meetings, Legion leadership will discuss the organization’s programs, initiatives and priorities, and announce the Fourth Estate Award and Eagle Scout of the Year recipients. The National Executive Committee will meet starting May 8 at 9 a.m. (EDT) and May 9 at 8 a.m. (EDT) to review commission reports, vote on resolutions and hear updates from Commander Koutz. The NEC meetings will be streamed live on www.legiontv.org.
