Program training available during national convention

During the 2014 National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., American Legion and USAA staff will be on hand to provide subject matter training over the course of two days. Legionnaires are invited to attend the training, which will cover a wide range of Legion programs, as well as financial and estate planning.

The training will take place on the right side of the exhibit hall in the Charlotte Convention Center. For a map of the hall floor plan, click here.

Saturday, Aug. 23

9 a.m. – District Revitalization

10 a.m. – USAA Legacy Planning- Protecting & Transferring Your Assets (Free Gift)

11 a.m. – Recruitment/Retention

12 p.m. – Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation/VA Update

1 p.m. – Social Media

2 p.m. – Temporary Financial Assistance

Monday, Aug. 25

9 a.m. – District Revitalization

10 a.m. – Estate Planning-Keeping It All in the Family (Free Gift)

11 a.m. – Recruitment/Retention

12 p.m. – Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation/VA Update

1 p.m. – Public Relations

2 p.m. – Americanism (Youth Programs Champions)
