Taurino "T.J." Trevino Sr. of Post 7 (Department of New Mexico) passed away Feb. 3 at the age of 66. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. Mr. Trevino served as department commander from 1993-1994, department vice commander from 1991-1992, National vice commander from 2005-2006, National Executive Committee member from 1999-2003 and 2009-2011, National Executive Committee alternate member from 1995-1999, National Americanism Council vice chairman from 2003-2005, 2006-2007 and 2011-2013, National Americanism Council chairman from 2007-2009, National Americanism Commission Liaison Committee member from 2009-2011, National Citizens Flag Alliance department chairman from 2004-2011, National Counter-Subversive Activities Committee member from 1992-1999, National Children & Youth Commission Liaison Committee member from 1999-2003, National Foreign Relations Council vice chairman from 1982-1983 and 1990-1992.
