Centennial Celebration spotlight: California Post 48

For many years, Post 48 in Oxnard, Calif., did not have a post home. Chartered in 1919, many Legionnaires said that Post 48’s first home was in Post Adjutant Charles P. Daly’s 1917-1920 Ford Model T. Daly and other post Legionnaires turned the car into a portable office and drove it to different post meetings throughout the area.
