Centennial spotlight: Post 287 in Missouri

Members of the Dick Munkres American Legion Post 287 in Savannah, Mo., have attended every American Legion national convention parade since the post was chartered in 1920.

Besides the national convention parade, Post 287 conducts its own Memorial Day parade every year with American Legion Family members, the local Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, police and high school band members.
