DSO (Department Service Officer) School

Aug 2-4, in Indianapolis.

National Headquarters conducts two DSO schools each year. The first is held in Washington the week prior to the Washington Conference. The second is held in Indianapolis in conjunction with the National Membership Workshop. DSO School is geared for the professional accredited American Legion representative (RO, county and state levels). Attendees must be endorsed by the department adjutant, who must submit a certification form to National Headquarters.
