IT IS MY SAD DUTY TO REPORT THAT JOSEPH T. CRAIG HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO POST EVERLASTING.

IT WAS REPORTED THAT JOE PASSED AWAY EARLY THIS MORNING.

JOE WAS A WELL RESPECTED CORNERSTONE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ALASKA HOLDING MANY OFFICES
IN BOTH THE DEPARTMENT AND OUR NATIONAL ORGANIZATION, INCLUDING:
PAST DEPARTMENT COMMANDER 1976-77
ALTERNATE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEEMAN 1982-94
NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEEMAN 1998-2002
NATIONAL VICE COMMANDER 1994-95.

JOE WAS A 48 YEAR MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN LEGION AND AN HONORARY LIFE MEMBER OF KETCHIKAN POST 3.
