Veterans Day in the Czech Republic

Department of France Vice Commander Stephen A. Ward attended the Veterans Day observance in Rokycany, Czech Republic. Outside the city of Rokycany is the Demarcation Line, where the Russian army and U.S. Army met during World War II.
Ward received an award from the Czech Veterans Association during banquet night.
Czech Scouts attended a ceremony in the city square.
Wreaths were laid at Rokycany’s city hall during the observance.
A Department of France representative for The American Legion will also be the next observance in Rokycany.
