FODPAL Legion represented at stateside Girls State

Diana Myers represented Kaiserslautern Post GR01 and the Department of France Auxiliary at the 2014 Maryland Girls State. She had a great experience. The members of Post GR01 are very proud of her.
Myers commented in an email to post membership: "I had a wonderful experience and I cannot even begin to describe how thankful I am for this opportunity your post has given me. I met girls that I will be friends with for a lifetime, and experiences that I will never forget. I learned and grew from this camp, and it was by far one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I simply cannot express my gratitude through words alone. My father has signed up to become part of The American Legion and my mother and I will be part of the American Legion Auxiliary. The work you do for our veterans is incredible. My grandfather was a lifetime member of The American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars as a World War II & Korean War veteran. He always stressed the importance of taking care of our veterans, and as a child and a grandchild of a veteran I wish to dedicate my time to this honorable cause. Thank you for this experience."
