Post GR13 takes part in Plärrer parade

On Aug. 28, the city of Augsburg, Germany, held its fall Plärrer (similar to Oktoberfest) parade. Augsburg's Dwight D. Eisenhower Post GR13 took part in the parade with comrades from the VFW. Active-duty soldiers from Wiesbaden also marched in uniform and sang jodies.
The U.S. military vehicles pictured are owned by Jürgen Centner, Amerika in Augsburg Association. After the parade, everyone met in the fest tent for chicken and beer.
