How to attend Department of France DEC meeting

Greetings, Legionnaires! I'm Post NL01 Commander Raymond Perez Jr., and on behalf of all of us here at the Margraten post, we would like to cordially invite The American Legion Department of France to the second Department Executive Committee Meeting on Oct. 27 in the Netherlands.

This year we have picked the wonderful four-star Van der Valk Hotel in Heerlen (https://www.hotelheerlen.nl/en). We currently have a block of 30 rooms on the first and second floors, but if we need more rooms that shouldn't be a problem. I recommend you book your rooms as early as you can, in case we do need more. The hotel is popular and runs full most days.

According to Hotel Sales Director Dominika Beijer, online booking will not get you the discounted rate. They're working on creating links for special rates and booking, but at the moment they do not have that option. So bookings need to be via email.

Dominika's email is sales@heerlen.valk.nl. Just send your name, the dates you want to book for, number of people in the room (1 or 2), and use Reference # HEE GF26725 (American Legion DEC). The rooms will cost €107 per night. If two are in a room, there will be an additional cost of €14.50 for the other occupant's breakfast. The total shared room cost would then be €122.50 per night.

Dominika will then send you a confirmation directly. She will also forward me your name as an attendee. Anyone who has already booked via online, please email Dominika your name and she will move you to the right pile (so to speak). Thank you all for your input and your kind attention.
