I thought it might be a good idea to list some calling frequencies maybe on that same App on the home page where you have LOOKING FOR THIS? Monthly Net Scedule. You could add a few calling Freq.
It would be a good way to encourage not only Ham Radio but Legion activities. Just a thought...some folks are into only DX, which is fun, and some like to rag chew and others persue certificates and special ops. HRN (Ham Radio Nation) has something similar and offer certificates (they dont have to be expensive) for working each other or seeing how many different Posts your can get member contacts etc...If there were a way to post that you were on line, that too would be good..Just an idea to make this hobby and this web site more fun...

Renz, I like your ideas, and especially the notion of American Legion Posts working other posts, or members working a collection of posts. How about a version of "Worked All States" by making a contact with a post or TALARC member within each state?
What does everyone think? Should TALARC list a calling freq and times for a weekly window for folks to work K9TAL, the station at national headquarters?

Great idea - However, it would be a TALARC WAD Award - Worked All Departments with a special FOD endorsement.
