Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans

Those who served on Navy ships during the Vietnam War out in the Gulf of Tonkin need your help. We were exposed to Agent Orange and some are suffering the consequences of that exposure just as those who were boots on the ground. But, in 2009 eligibility for VA benefits was withdrawn by the VA. Please visit bluewaternavy.com for a wealth of information.

There is a Bill in the House of Representatives, HR 543 , to remedy the situation . We need two things.

1. Please send an email to your members of Congress and ask them to cosponsor HR 543.
2. Send email to the House Veterans Affairs Committee and ask the chairman to schedule hearings on the bill.

This is especially important for those of you may have served on ships during the period. You may not be showing any symptoms of the conditions or illnesses connected with exposure to Agent Orange, but you may in the future.

Thanks, Bob McKeithen
