A couple of the members noted activities happening, or about to happen, in their communities and conducted by their respective posts. Several Christmas parties were mentioned, compliments of the post, and held for folks in the community with an eye toward the children of the area. Christmas dinners are planned for families of deployed servicemembers, and Christmas packages are going to the men and women of the Armed Forces overseas. This, courtesy of Utah Post 9 that also is participating in “Wreaths Across America," which pays tribute to departed veterans by placing wreaths at their gravesite.
