Net Control Station W9WMJ conducted the monthly net on *FMCA-ARC* EchoLink Conference Node 522547 on Saturday, June 11, 2016. The net was opened at 1200 ET [1600Z] and closed at 1300 ET [1700Z]. There were 13 check-ins, including Net Control.

Announcements were made with regard to the 2016 Dayton Hamvention. Suggestions were offered to the net that similar activities could take place at local ham radio events. An appeal went out for photos/videos of any ARRL Field Day activities that could be published on the TALARC website. A reminder was issued to "fly your flag" on Flag Day, Tuesday, June 14.
Discussion on the net was offered by several in regard to preparations for Field Day activities at the end of the month. Mark, W2UIS, Net Control for D-Star, spoke briefly about the D-Star Net that he operates twice monthly. Johnny, K7ZZQ, talked about his amateur radio work with local hospitals and the military. Chris, W4CEC, spoke of his amateur radio work with local Boy Scout units and reflected on the work of those at Post 294 at Powder Springs, Ga., where TALARC member Eldon Morris conducts training sessions for amateur radio licensing at the Technician and General Class levels.
The net closed at 1700Z.
