On June 20 of 1782, I became the National Emblem of the United States of America. My name is Mr. Majestic. I am not a common type of Eagle. I can only be found in the North American continent, and my breed is actually known as a Bald Eagle. Soaring high above our beautiful country is fun, I have freedom to soar to great heights, just like you do.

I know you will enjoy your visit at Legion Kids. I'll help you learn a bit of history, while having fun..

My name is Paul Revere, but you can call me Paul. Maybe you have heard of my long ride to Lexington on the 18th of April of 1775? I played an important part in the American Revolutionary War, fighting for the Independence of our young country. I am glad to meet you and help you learn and have fun here at Legion Kids.

Ring the bell! Ring the bell! Even though I have a crack, my tone still represents liberty, justice and freedom. I live in Philadelphia, and E-flat is my favorite musical note.
I am 70% copper, 25% tin, and I also have small amounts of lead, zinc, arsenic, silver and even gold!
I welcome you to hear my ring and play with me!

Hello, my name is George, which probably reminds you of one of your school friends or perhaps someone you've learned about in school. Well, I am here to teach you about some of our country's history. I was named after the first President of the United States,George Washington, who was often called the Father of Our Country; he loved farming and the land, and was a distinguished general and Commander-in-chief of the Colonial armies during the American Revolution.
I welcome you to Legion Kids and I am glad you are visiting us to learn a bit about our country.

Hello, hello, I am up here. Yes, I am friends with the moon and I represent Neil Armstrong. That's why I am called Neil the Star! I'll guide you on your journey at Legion Kids, and more specifically onto the moon. Neil Armstrong was an astronaut and the first human to walk on the moon as commander of Apollo 11. Welcome to Legion Kids!

Hi! I am Betsy, and I was named after Betsy Ross, who sewed the first American flag. I cherish the values that our flag represents, such as liberty, freedom, and justice. The American flag flies on the moon, sits atop Mount Everest, and flies high above the earth on airplanes and spaceships. The flag is how America signs her name, and you should respect it as much as I do!
Come play, and learn with us!
