I know a lot of "Liberals" and all of them I know love their country and respect Vets. A large number are teachers. To lump all "Liberals" as haters of the military and teaching young people to hate their country puts you in the same camp as that reporter. I am one of those so called "Liberals" and I fought and bled for my country. I also know a lot of "Conservatives" that would like to destroy our Constitution but I don't lump them into one camp or another. Most I know are red blooded American Patriots.

I don't know of a single veteran/military hater who is not liberal. No, all liberals are not haters, but every hater I've ever known is liberal. And I don't know of any conservative who would like to destroy our constitution.

I lump Hillary into the hate veterans group. She despises the veterans, especially in the White House, where she thinks she gained her experience. Which is dangerous to our system.

Her apology is meaningless. Her true feelings that prompted her to say what she said are still there. The US armed forces who suffered, were wounded, maimed, killed and/or captured won for her a safe place to spout her vile comments. I'd like to remove the protection we afford her for the rest of her miserable life.

While I have seen updates several times daily on T.V. since the incident of alleged police brutality in Baltimore, I have not heard/read about the further incident involving a CNN reporter. I do not watch CNN.

Yes, I concur! I stopped watching most liberal stations long ago, but very occasional tune in to see if the management has changed to report the news accurately--they have not. Also it is amazing that college professors hired are allowed to propagate their views (and grades sadly sometimes depend on whether you concur) instead of presenting all views. Those deemed liberal definitely were born with very different brain connections when it comes to accurately putting fact together for logical conclusions. Our indiscriminate breeding is producing a fairly large number of liberal brained people. There ---you logical folks know how to change things.

The news media in America became a thorn in the side of the Military and especially Veterans during and after the Vietnam War. Through their inane reporting, Veterans have been, and are looked upon as being senseless killers, people to be shunned, spat on, called baby killers, etc. These are the same media people who enjoy enormous freedoms provided through the suffering and bloodshed of America's all volunteer military. When one of these liberal media reporters makes a baseless accusation it cuts our pride for our sacrifice to this country to the quick. Then, as this CNN reporter did, they make a lame apology, expecting that to act as a band aid to stop the bleeding of a severed artery. We Veterans are proud to have served our country, many of us still do through organizations like The American Legion, Patriot Guard, The Veterans Administration, and many more. It's time the news media woke up and stopped making up lies and innuendos about the people who have made it possible for them to keep the freedoms they take for granted. There is a radio commentator named Earl Pitts who says it better than anyone, "WAKE UP AMERICA!"

The more controversy they can stir up, the more Sensational their stories, the more superlatives they can use the more money they are going to make. We, as Veterans know the truth and unfortunately we cannot pass this on to those who have never served. I do agree that the ending of the Draft means that much fewer serve. As a matter of fact, most of those who serve now come from some kind of Military background. So do not buy into their Sensationalist Crap. Carry on Troopers, OORAH!
