This is just another way of government ruining or allowing to be ruined, our privacy, etc. I am 80 now. I served in Vietnam (Tet Offensive of 68) I was told, upon leaving not to mention Vietnamin anything I say and was advised not to wear the uniform back to the U.S. The Govt, the pentagon and politicians have allowed so many illegal things to occur and look the other way so their pockets will be filled and the hell with the general public. We now as an American cannot freely speak of religion, we can't wear our uniforms onn all holidays, we can't fly our flags w/o discrimination and Obama has ruined military life. He has ruined the U'S. as a whole. No one wants to go in the services due to many cutbacks and not allowing the individual to protect our country as it should be. I will die soon and I feel sorry that the govt cannot protect us orour way of life anymore, due to their oen greed, so we get hacked, lose our privacy, loss of rules from congree and let the fat asses do as they wish. I could go on even more, but I'll close by saying I have a heart condition which I'm on rx for life, yet the VA has decided I am in good health and have taken away benefits. Next the politicians will do away with military pay, since they have already played games with it and the poor serviceman when he leaves the military, gets nothing. They don't and will not get respect or thanks for what they have done. Military is just another job and you're forgotten after leaving it and privacy id the thing of the past. Between govt, courts, etc. we'll not have any privacy whatsoever in the future. Protect yourself in very way you can because no one else will help you.

The country is almost done...........go ahead and stick a fork in it! The politicians, have bought and sold us down the river.....that is why they need another raise. We are only a shell of the once proud country we used to be.

That pretty much says it all.

The Internet is a two way street. There is a physical connection where countries are connected to the Internet. That connection can easily be broken. If they can't control their citizens its time to isolate them especially Russia, China, North Korea and the Middle East.

At this point "what difference does it make".

Just another example of the ineptitude of our federal government to do anything effectively.

This breach is just one of many that have hit the US. The problem isn't just the IRS and its sloppy electronic security measures but our entire nation that has been hacked by Chinese and other hackers throught the world. Time for the US to use some of the $640 billion in DoD funding to secure our country from hackers. We spend more money on a Ford class carrier ($12 billion and counting) that what is needed to secure the US. And what good is it to have a $12 billion carrier churing the oceans in search of something to do when back home the US electric grid, Wall Street Banks, Federal Reserve, Major Credit card companies, and others have been hacked and incapacitated. Remember the Iranian Sextnet hack by US and Israel that destroyed over 1,000 centrafuges? That and more could hit the US.

Yet another reason to support the "Flat Tax"...

There are hardware firewalls available that can block intrusions from foreign countries. Too arrogant to use them or does the IRS want us to be vulnerable?

I guess a lot of people have forgotten the promise Obama made to the former president of Russia when he did not think the mike was still on when he said as soon as the election is over things will change. Friends, we have no leadership or credibility.

This terror of technology is only just the start. Read the article on Google's Ray Krezail. Forgive me if I spelled his name wrong.

Putin is twitting Obummers nose, knowing fully well that Obummer will do nothing but make a campaign speech and go golfing.

Disband the IRS and go to a flat tax so we can pay off the national debt in 10 years. A flat tax of 17% will do all of that. No corporate or elected officials exemption either.

Although most people refuse to admit it, America, through over spending, lack of morality, refusal to close our southern borders, and many many more crimes against the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, and The Declaration of Independence by the current administration, is becoming weaker as a world power. The Russians, North Koreans, and Chinese see this and attempt to find any way possible to infiltrate the weakest areas in order to make it easier to take our country down. The IRS, under the direction of Washington Liberals, has been, and is being used to make trouble for Americans who disagree with the President and his radical policies. For all intents and purposes, the aforementioned communist countries are laughing themselves giddy with the thought they may, finally, be close to finding a way to bring the United States of America to her knees. This attack on us and our sovereignty as a free nation must be stopped or else we will no longer be free, but subject to the slavery of communism. Personally, as a Veteran who served my country with pride, I would fight and die in my own country in order to keep communism and radicalism out of The Land of The Free.

I agree with all of you. Until we have enough voters to elect all new senators and representatives who respect our constitution nothing will be done---the good old boys will prevail in congress. I prepose that we qualify people who will be voting. A literary test or IQ test may work. So many of us who vote, including the congress do not know what they are voting for or how it will impact all of us. Also, many voters are bought and sold--many of us are narcissistic prostitutes, non-self sufficient takers instead of contributors, and undereducated, I'm afraid. Many of us are not wired for logical conclusions based on facts, but instead are wired for feeling conclusions where incompetency gets a pass and a paycheck. Sooo glad I am old, but feel sorry for the young coming up in the world today. We are short on people who are both smart and care about the best future for all--not just themselves!!
