If Donald Trump gets elected President I suspect China will very quickly become less of a concern. However, if Hillary Clinton get's elected it'll be goodbye United States as we've known it and I feel sorry for the generations coming up. God help them because the government surely won't.

The Republican President Nixon opened up China (as the media likes to say). If everyone is so worried about China don't you think we should stop trading with them and have all U.S. & allied countries corporations pull out of China. Where do you think they are getting their money, expertise and know how to build missle etc. Karl Marx said,"a capitalist will sell the rope that hangs him". China is buying more rope every day.

While I don't buy Trump's tough talk I fully intend to vote for him if he is the GOP nominee because the big picture is that by not voting we get 2008 and 2012 all over again. I just hope he actually appoints and then listens to competent advisers, unlike our current CIC. And as far as I'm concerned Trump can ignore any advice which Obama and his "back benchers" will surely volunteer. Just show them the door!

EH has it right! 90% of the things I want to buy are made in China. They already own the U.S. Very soon we will be speaking Chinese. I'm glad I've already lived most of my life, as I hate to think of what's ahead of us, not so very far down the road.

Trump is wrong about Mexico but he is right about China. What can you buy that's not made in China (or PRC) China is getting stronger and we are feeding the Dragon.
If we spent more investing in Mexico and Latin America with less in China we would be better off. People go where the jobs are and are less likely to try to go to the US. If you have a good job in central Mexico you aren't going to move to Podunk, Iowa.

You stupid idiots! China has missiles that send satellites into outer space and has missiles that could easily send nuclear warheads to the mainland of America, has been able to do this years ago. China also has nuclear submarines surrounding the US with nuclear missiles just a few miles off the US coasts. You're worried about Guam??? What insanity!
