The USA and Iraqi troops need to get serious and wipe out ISIS where they are.
Iraqi troops must control Iraq and the USA troops should then leave Iraq to the Iraqi people and government. This should be done after Iraq has settled down and in control.

One of the things that apparently made binLaden so mad at us was our "invasion" of Arab/Muslim lands during the Gulf War. Whether justified or not, if that attitude holds, then we must see that the Muslim nations put down the aberration that is ISIS themselves, and thus prove to the rest of us that they are peaceful. And if they won't - then the entire bunch of them should be declared terrorists.

All these middle-eastern countries we spend a fortune coddling and fighting their wars for them, have got out number. They get the US to 'save them from oppression' and rebuild their infrastructure for them, then throw their shoe at us (vitriol insult, yes?) and snigger up their sleeve when they learn their friends, neighbors, family are plotting to blow us up (in mass). When they fail to expose these maniacal plots they are not "peace loving Muslims", they are as duplicitous as a suicide bomber. As long as we continue to spend our good fortune and spill our blood, and don't require them to make the same or greater sacrifice they will never know the true price of freedom they will never fully engage. They will continue to take their turn reaching for a handout with one hand and throwing rocks at us with the other.

The proto-state of Yzlamik State, which we (inadvertantly) helped build should have already been liquidated by a coalition of coalitions i.e. Arab nations; NATO; United Nations Security COuncil members. This would have provided enough firepower to have eliminated this particular political/theological pathology in a month or two. Instead we are into approximately the third year of this disgusting show of violence.
Our "leaders" have again displayed for the whole world their incompetence, callousness and corruption.

If we are going over there to fight Washington must stay out of the way and let the military brass do what has to be done to win and win quick, Hit and run. We have a Commander and Chief who has no military back ground not even a Boy Scout but he has told the Brass for the last 7 years how to fight over there and were has it got us. Only way to win is let the Commanders in the field give the orders and not with one hand tied behind there back. Kick ass and take names.

Our presence unfortunately, in total force, may be the only solution. Middle eastern countries will not stand up to isis in the force needed. Reason, "tribal warfare" for the last 1000 years or longer. Sunni vs shiite vs kurd. Its all they know, kill or be killed. Islam is as much a political/social philosophy as a religion.

Afghanistan should have been turned into a glass feild immediately after 9-11. Withdraw all the troops on the ground and bomb ISIS straight to their allah. No other way is possible. Period.
