I hope I'm not bringing down hellfire and brimstone on me, but I can't bring myself to concur with the proposed amendment. Burning the flag has never been a serious problem. And I would think there's plenty of loyal Americans (and I consider myself one) who wouldn't hesitate to take those immature jerks out behind the woodshed. That being said, those same jerks will astound you with their creativity when challenged. For example, would burning a 14 striped flag be a violation? How about projecting a flag image on a wall and pelting it with debris? Would that also be a violation? You see where I'm going with this.
