Legion to testify on economic well-being and security of veterans

The American Legion is set to testify before the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Economic Opportunity Subcommittee on Sept. 21 at 9:30 a.m. Testimony will focus on draft legislation on issues pertaining to the economic well-being of veterans.

This includes legislation on grants for homeless veterans, extending the delimiting period for certain individuals to use Department of Veterans Affairs educational assistance benefits, and improvements to the use of educational assistance provided by VA for flight training programs.

The hearing will be livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook.
