Pearl Harbor Day Color Guard at College Basketball Game

On Dec. 7th, Pelham NY Post 50 and Squadron 50 presented colors at the Iona College basketball game versus Siena. Pelham's Sons Squadron organized a presentation by Iona's cheerleaders of a large Flag which once flew at the Olympic Games. Both teams lined up on their foul lines and were very respectful until the color guard retired the Flag from the court. The PA Announcer described that Dec. 7th changed the lives of every American of that era, that 16 million served in the military during WWII and that 405,000 lost their lives in service to our country. Many thanks to Iona College for supporting the event.
