Centennial media toolkit available in multiple versions

The 100th Anniversary Media Toolkit – constructed by American Legion National Headquarters to help posts and departments prepare for both the Centennial Celebration and the Legion’s second century of service – is available to download in multiple versions.

It’s all valuable. But at 38 pages, it can be tricky to find the specific thing needed at any given time. So in addition to the PDF of the full version, PDFs are also available of just the sections.

*Overview: Learn how posts can share the legacy and be part of the vision during the Centennial Celebration.

*Centennial Message Points: Succinct, fact-based clauses that can be used to help tell the centennial story.

*Event Ideas and Suggested Materials: Ideas for centennial-themed events, paired with suggested brochures and other tools to enhance the impact of the event in the community.

*Media Templates: Sample media advisories, press releases, community proclamations and radio PSAs, with fill-ins for local content.

*Speeches: suggested centennial speeches that can be delivered in 15, 10 or 5 minutes.
