WW-I and WW-ll Veterans Memorial Bridge

At a ceremony on September 23, 2016 the Boeuf River bridge, between West Carroll and Morehouse Parish, was renamed WW I and WW II Veterans Memorial Bridge. This was the results of a combined effort of the American Legion Post 53, our state elected officials, and the LA Highway Department, but mainly through the efforts of Jack Madden Commander of the Sons of the American Legion Oak Grove who started this project three years ago.
