  1. I worked at Wisconsin Steel Works from 1963 to 1975. He was a great person and a dedicated union delegate. I've been searching for years to make contact with some of my fellow co workers I worked in the Blast Furnace Department as a Pipefitter and a Stationary Engineer. I would really like to hear from by former co workers. I felt so bad for all the workers that lost their jobs when the Mill was closed down. I can be found on Facebook. I was sadden to hear of Lupe's passing. I would extend my condolences to the Escalante family. He was such a nice guy, always had that million dollar smile when he greeted you. I had no idea of his military back ground. Have a warm Holiday Season. RIP Lupe
