Michael W. Parsons

Michael W. Parsons, 75, of Dallas, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains, Pa.
He was a son of the late Willard and Helen Novajosky Parsons. Michael was a graduate of Lehman High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He and his wife, the former Nancy Cole, were married in April 1962.
Michael was employed by Sears Corp. where he worked as a service manager, retiring at age 54.
He knew how to fix anything - electrical, plumbing, construction, and he did it for everyone. He was a member of American Legion Post 672 and Gate of Heaven Church, both in Dallas.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Nancy Parsons, Dallas; daughter Molly Davies and husband Mark, Dallas; son Michael Parsons Jr. and wife Lori, Dallas; grandchildren Kyle and Vanessa Parsons and Eric and George Davies; sisters Marianne Hennebaul, Lilburn, Ga.; Helen Ford, Tunkhannock, Pa.; and Ann Marie Gurnari, Hanover Township, Pa. Brothers Willard Parsons, Central, Pa.; Francis Parsons, Rochester, N.Y.; and John Parsons, Harveys Lake, Pa.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be missed.
