Jacob C. Willman, 89, a resident of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Sept. 6, 2014, and is buried in the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Jacob was born Dec 14, 1924, in Racine, Wis. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard USS Chester. He was united in marriage to Agnes Breault in 1947. They shared over 66 years of marriage and memories together. She preceded him in death on Aug. 14, 2014. Jacob was an accomplished cement finisher, perfecting his craft over 37 years, many with Goetz Concrete Construction Company. He was an avid gardener and loved to share his bounty with others. He cherished the time he spent with family teaching many generations to share his fishing passion. Jacob and Agnes enjoyed spending their winters in Florida and traveling together. Jacob is survived by his children and their spouses: Janet Willman, LeClaire, Michael (Colleen) Willman, Davenport, Mark (Ellen) Willman, Blue Grass, Larry (Carmen) Willman, Silverdale, Wash., Annette (Doug) Casad, Davenport, and Joey (Leslie) Eberline, Clermont, Fla.
