James A. Walsh

James A. Walsh, 82, of Cranston, R.I., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Jim was a retired agent for the Internal Revenue Service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He was past chief of the Oak Lawn Volunteer Fire Association, past chairman of the Cranston School Committee and past treasurer of the Phenix Sportsmen’s Club. Jim was married to the late Sandra E Walsh for 53 years. Jim leaves behind four children and four grandchildren. Jim loved his family and life in general. He wanted to tell everyone, “Goodbye, it’s been fun."
