Donald W. Thomas

Donald W. Thomas, 83, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at the Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
He was born on April 8, 1932, in Findlay to the late Charles Guy and Ethel (Hartman) Thomas. On Jan. 10, 1953, he married Betty J. Gangle and she survives.
Also surviving are a son: Bob (Linda) Thomas of Ashley, Ohio, and two daughters: Barb (Lee) Orians of Carey, Ohio, and Kathy (Keim) Thomas-McIlvaine of New Albany, Ohio. Donald has three grandchildren: Scott Thomas, Jordan Orians and Nicole Orians, as well as a sister: Ellen Kimmel of Findlay.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.
Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a maintenance supervisor for Emro Marketing.
He had been a member of the Findlay Elks for 33 years, the Carey American Legion, had coached Little League Baseball in Van Buren for many years, was a past president of the Van Buren Athletic Boosters and den leader for Cub Scout Troop 305.
The family requests that memorials be given to Bridge Hospice in his memory.
