Donn R. Adrian

LTC Adrian died Jan. 12, 2016, after a brief battle with cancer. Born in 1929 in W. Pittston, Pa., Donn enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1947. He was a 1949 graduate of the Officer Candidate School in Fort Riley, Kan. He served two tours in Korea, one in Vietnam and two in Europe. He retired from the military in 1969 and moved to Frankfort, Ky.
He is survived by his wife, Joan, of 64 years; 3 daughters, Donna, Christine and Lynn; four grandsons; and two great-grandchildren; along with a brother, sister and their families. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to a U.S. veterans charity of choice are suggested.
