Harry Kenneth Fary, 88, a lifelong Eatontown resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Ken was born in Long Branch to Sylvester and Ida Mae (Lewis) Fary. Ken honorably served our country in the U.S. Army from 1946-1947 and then the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1954. He then was employed for over 40 years by the Borough of Eatontown as a Sewer Department supervisor. In addition, he was an exempt member of the Eatontown Fire Department, becoming chief in 1962. Ken enjoyed his garden, spending time with his Eatontown buddies and serving the community.He is predeceased by his parents, his sister, Edith, brothers; George, Robert and Charles; and in 2014 by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sadie Marie (Hyslop) Fary.He is survived by his children; Kenneth and wife Melissa of Howell, Keith and his wife Donna of Long Branch, Kimberly of Eatontown and AnnMarie Ilaria of Point Hernando, Fla.; his sister, Harriett Hill of Eatontown and five loving grandchildren; Keith Jr., Kyle, Vinnie, Crystal and Ashley.
