John Michal

John Michal, 77, of Clifton passed away on Dec. 25, 2020. Born in Passaic, John was a resident of Clifton for most of his life. A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle Parish, Clifton, John was a proud U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of Rochelle Park American Legion Post 170, Clifton VFW Post #7165 and Saddle Brook VFW Post #3484. John was a police officer for the city of Clifton for over 20 years before retiring in 2000.
Devoted father of Susan Sescila and her husband John of Fort Mill, S.C., Gregory Michal and his wife Gina of New Providence, and Jill Kochan and her husband Mark of Clifton. Cherished grandfather of Summer, Alexis, Natalie, Anthony, Daniel and Maxwell.
