Robert Ortiz

Robert, 89, of Maywood, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022. Before retiring, Robert worked for Con Edison in NY as a mechanic. He was a member of American Legion Post 170 in Rochelle Park; served in the past for the Maywood Fire Police; and was a former member of American Legion Post 142. Robert was a Navy veteran who served our country proudly during the Korean War. He was a devoted parishioner at Sacred Heart R.C. church. Robert loved boating, motorcycles, sports and golf. He enjoyed traveling the continental United States by car, taking his family on many road trips over the years.

Beloved husband of the late Johanna Ortiz (nee Tedone). Devoted father of Robin (Peter) Calandriello, Donna (the late Abraham) Feliciano, and Cindy (Edward) Ortiz Dilworth. Cherished grandfather of Alexis, Robert, Teodoro, Caiden and Sedona. Predeceased by his sons, Darrin J. Ortiz and Robert Ortiz.

Interment at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, N.J.
