Who provided the flagpoles at the two entrances to National Headquarters in Indianapolis?

Annin & Co. – the oldest and largest manufacturer of U.S. flags in the country, founded in 1847 – donated flagpoles for the front and back entrances as a gift to one of the company’s biggest accounts (Annin was the flag supplier for Emblem Sales), and was formally presented on Sept. 20, 1965. A plaque on the left-hand side of the front entrance states that it was given in honor of the company’s then president, Digby W. Chandler.

Annin Flagmakers, as the company is known today, is still going strong and still supplying flags for Emblem Sales.
