New Mexico National Guard Tuition Scholarship Program:

The New Mexico National Guard Tuition Scholarship Program pays up to 100% of the cost of tuition (instructional fees in lieu of tuition, and laboratory shop fees specifically required), based on the availability of funds, for state supported schools. Minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.

Eligibility: For Army National Guard: The scholarship applies to first post-secondary degree or vocational training at any state supported institution. Not to exceed 150 semester hours while participating in this program.

For Air National Guard: The scholarship applies to National Guard students pursuing their first degree at the undergraduate level or vocational studies. Not to exceed 130 semester hours while participating in this program.

New Mexico Vietnam Veterans’ Scholarship Award:

The Vietnam Veteran Scholarship will pay full tuition and books at any state funded post-secondary school to eligible veterans.

Eligibility: Veteran must have established residency in New Mexico for a minimum of ten years, must have an Honorable Discharge, and have been awarded the Vietnam Campaign, or Vietnam Service Medal.
